A growing group of friends and vulnerable kids who get together on Saturday mornings (January through May) for some fun, faith, and positive role modeling through a variety of activities. We are cheerful givers, hard workers, and overcomers. Our goal is to connect one-on-one with our kids and have them feel important, loved, and confident. We do this by playing basketball together, creating art, circuit training, weekly speakers, healthy snacks, lunch and much more.
We are now a program of Cincinnati Youth Collaborative so we can better connect potential mentors with potential mentees before making a match. If one of our volunteers hits it off with a youth, CYC can help make that match happen. As a result, Saturday Hoops serves as a built-in mentor/mentee activity for five months of the year. Until then, you can just come down and volunteer and see where you connect. Come for an hour or every Saturday! No pressure. Families welcome-no experience required!
Every Saturday, January 11th thru May 2nd, 9:00am-1:00pm
